Help Niko and his family heal and recover

Necaliztli (Niko) Encina was taken to the hospital earlier this week and was diagnosed with MIS-C. Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome. It is a very rare and dangerous side effect of COVID in children. He has inflammation in his heart and is receiving treatment for the condition for the next several days or more. His little 8-year-old body and fighting spirit are doing the best they can to get through this, but it's going to be a long road. His Dad Manuel and his Mom Liz are with him and are the only people allowed to be in his room. This experience is scary and exhausting for all three of them and his little brother Tecuani who is at home with grandma and not allowed to be there with his family. We want to take care of some of the pressures and stress the family is going through now and in the next few weeks with recovery by giving them a little financial cushion so that they don't have to rush back to work. (paid time off is not possible for one of the parents) In addition, once the medical bills begin to come in, they will be substantial.
