Help Monty Get the Vet Care He Desperately Needs

Let me introduce you to “Monty”. I have posted on my FB page about him before. And you all know from my FB page, I’m the definition of crazy cat lady and have rescued so many! This incredible boy is breaking my heart because financially, I cannot take care of his needs right now, or I already would have. Many of my close friends know I was laid off from my job of nearly 18 years - months ago. I would happily take him in, however, he needs a veterinarian visit asap. I cannot take him inside with my cats until he is checked out, has his shots, neutering, and a good deworming. If you look at his stomach compared to the rest of him…. It’s obvious he is so malnourished due to worms most likely, and I can’t get my other cats sick.

Monty must have been dumped in our neighborhood because he is definitely not feral as I thought at first. He is so loving and appreciative of affection and food - and if the door is open just a minute too long, he runs in! He just wants a loving home and I feel awful I have to shoo him out. He has been around for nearly 5 months now and he knows where he is safe and fed. My neighbor and I have been feeding him non stop. If I had to guess, I’d say he’s about 3 or 4, but looks younger because he’s so malnourished. The vet would be able to tell.

I am begging, along with Monty, for any help. If each of my friends were able to donate even $2, I think we could get it done! Monty thanks you in advance as well as our family and my neighbor. We really want to take him in once he’s healthy. Thank you so very much.
