I’m Oliver, a 22-year-old actor, and I’ve just been offered a place at the world-renowned Jacques Lecoq Theatre School in France.
My Journey So Far:
Since moving from New Zealand to London in 2022, I’ve been accepted into the National Youth Theatre and the Artists Theatre School, and this July I’ll be performing in a show directed by Amanda Redman MBE. These have been essential and transformative experiences for me.
The Next Step:
Attending the Lecoq School is a pivotal moment for me - not just for my career but for the kind of theatre I want to make. The Lecoq school has trained some of the most influential performers and theatre-makers in the world. The Lecoq method is physical, embodied, emotional and immediate, and after attending a Stage in March this year, I knew that this was what I should be doing.
Why I Need You:
I’m aiming to raise £7,400 to cover the full course fees, but to secure my visa, I have to show sufficient savings to cover living expenses while studying full-time in France. So, by helping with my fees, you enable me to focus on saving for these additional costs.
Any amount you can give, or even just sharing this page, would mean the world to me and help bring me closer to this incredible opportunity.
Thank you so much for your support.
