Help Mango the Mini Dachshund Stay on His Feet!

Mango is a beloved companion and member of the Mixed Movements Summer Camps family. He's a source of joy and comfort for everyone who meets him, visiting local schools to provide emotional support and engaging with youth in meaningful ways. He was about to take his therapy dog career to the next level with the St. John’s Ambulance Therapy Dog Program, and he’s just a few months away from celebrating his 4th birthday this July.

Unfortunately, Mango has recently lost control of his hindquarters and is unable to walk properly. After seeing a vet, we’ve been given the heartbreaking diagnosis of Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD), which is affecting his spine and causing nerve damage. Time is of the essence, as we need to make a decision soon about whether he will need surgery to repair his spine.

The surgery, along with the cost of support devices to help him walk again, is beyond our current means. We are reaching out to you, our community, to help us raise the funds needed for Mango's surgery and recovery. Mango has brought so much joy and healing to others, and now he needs our help.
