Help Kobe Recover

If you know me, you know just how much my dog, Kobe means to me. He came at just the right time during quarantine. I got him the day after my 24th birthday as a companion to help me stay a little more positive. I had been suffering with severe anxiety and depression. Kobe helps to relieve that.
Friday evening after work as I was driving, my little sister called me with an unsettling phone call. She had been playing with my dog outside our house, and when Kobe saw my mom outside of the gate, he bolted for the gate's door and pushed it open. At that exact time, a truck was speeding in front of our residential home and hit Kobe. The security footage is awful. My 7 month old baby went flying across the street.
Immediately, my family took him to the Animal Specialty Center in Yonkers, a 24/7 emergency vet care center, and I met them there. The vet said it wasn't looking too good for Kobe, and his trauma is severe.
Currently, Kobe has a laceration on his stomach. His abdomen is broken. He has severe pulmonary contusions (bruising of the lungs), which causes labored breathing. He is receiving oxygen therapy, and so far, his oxygen levels have gone up from 83% to 91% overnight with the help of oxygen therapy. His oxygen levels need to be at 95% unsustained by oxygen therapy.
The vet costs are tremendous. Luckily, I do have emergency vet insurance, but it's not enough. The cost for only 2 nights at the hospital is just under $8,000, and this does not include extended stays or the potential of surgery to repair his abdomen. I am paying all of this out of pocket and on credit cards to help my baby stay alive and recover.
I'm asking for help, and I never do this. If you find it in your heart to support Kobe's treatment and surgery, please consider donating. Kobe has honestly helped me through some of my hardest days, and I can't imagine losing another dog so soon. He is the happiest boy, and I just want to cuddle him and spoil him with love.
