Katie Byrne is 19 years old. She has cerebralpalsy, a dysplastic hip, twisted femur and retroverted pelvis. These issues are ongoing since she was 4 years old.

Surgeons here in Ireland have said Katie is too weak for surgery

We have found a surgeon in the Paley institute in Florida who is ready and waiting to operate on Katie but the cost of surgery and associated costs is coming in at at total of €400,000.

Funding will cover 2 surgeries that katie now needs, physio before and after surgery, our travel and living expenses for 9 weeks and any other expenses we may incur while trying to get Katie her surgery
