My cat Junior—who I lovingly call Jun Jun or June Bug—means everything to me. He’s a gentle soul who loves other animals and people, and he’s always been a true gentleman, letting his mom eat or play first. Every night, he curls up beside me, and I can’t imagine my life without him.
A few days ago, Junior was attacked by a larger stray grey cat while sharing his food outside. At first, I hoped the wound would heal, but it only got worse. When I saw it growing, I knew I had to get him to the vet right away. The surgery saved his life, but the bill was much higher than I expected. Now, Junior needs constant care, antibiotics, and pain medication. He cries whenever he’s left alone, so I’m staying home to look after him, even though it means missing work. My job already doesn’t give me enough hours, and I don’t have pet insurance, so this has been overwhelming.
In the past, I’ve lost pets because I couldn’t afford the care they needed, and I promised myself I’d never let that happen again. I’m asking for help to cover Junior’s vet bill and his recovery care. Any support means the world to us. Thank you for reading our story and caring about my sweet boy.
