Help Jed Find His Voice with an AAC Device

Hi Friends,

I’m starting this fundraiser on behalf of our amazing sister and our nephew Jed, a bright and loving young boy with autism and a rare genetic disorder called ZMIZ1. Jed is nonverbal and in need of an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) device to help him express himself, connect with others, and thrive in his daily life.

Jed has so much to say—his laughter, his curiosity, and his unique personality shine through every day. An AAC device would be life-changing, giving him the tools he needs to communicate his thoughts, feelings, and needs more independently.

Unfortunately, insurance is only covering a portion of the cost, and the remaining amount is beyond what our family can manage alone. That’s why we’ve created this GoFundMe— to offer a line of help from those who care and who want to make a direct difference in Jed’s life.
