Help Fund 250,000 Menopause Information Booklets

Hello, I'm Diane Danzebrink and I have been working and campaigning for better menopause education, information, care and support for all, for many years now.

One of the key aims of my #MakeMenopauseMatter campaign calls for a government funded public health campaign for menopause, to improve information and awareness. A fundamental part of this is a freely available information booklet.

Having called for this for over five years without success, I decided to do it myself. In the Summer of 2023 my small purpose over profit organisation, Menopause Support published the booklet 'Understanding Menopause', an essential guide to navigating menopause successfully.

Myself and my small team were supported by four wonderful menopause specialists who helped us to ensure that the information was factual and evidence based.

Menopause Support has been able to self fund the writing, design, pdf and printing of 100,000 copies of this booklet, delivered completely free of charge. The pdf has been shared by many individuals and organisations and added to many NHS and company websites.

The response to the booklet has been so incredibly positive that paper copies are flying out of the door. This is clearly a much needed resource. It should be something that is funded nationally, but we are having to do it ourselves, and thats where you come in.

I would love to be able to order 250,000 copies in the next batch, but the printing and logistics, (including packing, storage, picking, despatch and delivery) costs to around 5000 addresses totals around £90,000, and that is where you can help.

We receive no government or NHS funding for this project so we have to pull together as a community to make this happen.
