Denver is more than a dog—he is my everything, my rock, my 2’ blonde shadow, my whole world, and just one look into those puppy eyes melts my heart every time. He is the soul that carries me through my hardest days, the one who brings laughter when I need it most, the gentle presence that reminds me who I am when everything else feels uncertain. He is, quite simply, the best part of me.

And now, he is facing a battle where every moment counts.

We recently received life-changing news. Denver has a choroid plexus carcinoma, a malignant brain tumor growing in his third ventricle. Because of where it is, surgery is not an option. However, radiation therapy offers hope! Hope for more time, more love, more days where he gets to be his sweet, happy self. Without treatment, the time we have together may be short. With it, Denver could have a year or more to keep making memories and spreading joy.

Denver has brought immense strength, comfort, and stability into my life. He has become my safe place, and my source of unconditional love through my own battle with long COVID. Since June 2022, my health has taken so much from me, including my ability to work consistently, my independence, and the life I used to have. Every day is a challenge, and financially, things have been incredibly difficult. I have fought to keep going, and Denver has been there through it all. He has made me feel whole even when my body has failed me. It is absolutely impossible to imagine getting through these past few years without Denver’s constant presence and support.

Now, I am asking for help because I am unable to do this alone. Radiation is expensive, and my financial situation has already been stretched to its limit due to my own medical struggles.
