Help Coda in his fight to heal.
Donazione protetta
This is Coda. He's a local feral and very deaf boy that was TNR'd a few years ago (note the tipped ear). A few weeks ago he went missing, only to return recently looking very ill- stuffed sinuses, eyes dripping and trouble breathing. He's normally too smart to be touched or trapped, but in the last few days, he's been slowly surrendering, allowing us to pet him when he comes for food that he won't eat as he can't smell it. He's getting thinner and a bit disoriented. Today (Jan. 5), he came to inspect food and after a few pets, I scooped him up in one hand. Rather than fight and flee, he kind of deflated and let me place him into a carrier. I think he decided I want to help and is ready to accept it. He is currently enjoying the 68 degrees inside over the 25 outside... but still won't eat. He bats the food around instead of trying to taste it...sliced roast beef! He normally LOVES american cheese pieces, but even that isn't wanted. I fear he is giving up.
But as always at my home, we just don't have the spare cash for these emergencies. Both our 20-year-old cars have needed pricey repairs in the last 30 days, so I'm forced to ask the public to help save this sweet guy.
The goal number is a wild guess, as I have no clue exactly what illness he is dealing with. But any donations will go toward his needed care and, in the worst case, his final expenses. Any excess will be handed over to Christine Dickson for use in her rescue efforts.
I appreciate your consideration to help Coda get better.
