Hi my name is Cheryl. I'm raising funds for myself due to going through IV chemo treatment and still being homeless. My partner's Mom is lost her apartment back in mid July of last year. From that through mid October we camped because thst was the only thing I could afford while I was on medical leave. I've been dealing with this journey since mid March and then being in the hospital for four days back then and that's when they found the ampullary mass which was at the bottom of my pancreas leading into my small intestine. The surgery they did was called a Whipple procedure in which they removed my gallbladder, biliary duct, some lymph nodes, over 1/3 of my pancreas and part of my small intestine. I had that surgery done on June 10th and I had my post-op appointment on June 26th. The doctor told me I'm going to need chemo and I go for my appointment with my medical oncologist on Wednesday July 2nd to find out the treatment plan. I really need help with emergency housing, medical bills, food and other bills. I would appreciate any help that I can receive. They tried the oral chemo first and it didn't work. I've lost most of my hair and eyebrows. I'm working remotely From home right now because I'm dealing with cellulitis in my right lower leg and fighting a lot of fatigue. We've been staying at an Airbnb but I can't keep doing that because then I can't save any money to get a permanent place to live. Any help I can get would be greatly appreciated.
