Welcome to Intrusion !!

My name is Jonah Brainard and I am the Director of Intrusion! This film is for my ACP-Fiction class and to make it come alive, I need YOUR help. This film comes directly from my passion for psychological thrillers, as well as my inner feelings and emotions. My producer, Michael Mahtesian, and I have dedicated months to working on this film and hope we can make it a reality with your support.

What is this film?

When a paramedic must get home to save his wife, unexpected twists cause him to question reality. The purpose of this narrative is to convey the emotions of being unable to reach your loved one—that feeling of panic and pure helplessness. All while still adding a touch of action-packed thrill.

Where will this money go?

We are raising money to hire professional actors, obtain quality locations, rent top-grade camera gear, and purchase props and decor to create an accurate setting for the film. We are raising money to feed our cast and crew while working on set, to reimburse transportation, and to hopefully submit to film festivals upon completion.

Anyone who donates will receive exclusive and behind-the-scenes photos from the set. PLUS a huge thank you in the credits.

Donations larger than $200 will receive an associate producer's credit on the film.

Meet the Director

Jonah Brainard - Jonah has been creating short films and various productions since first entering film school 2 years ago. He has taken multiple production courses, editing classes, and even photography workshops. Additionally, Jonah has had hands-on experience working in almost every position on a film set as he has worked on 10+ student films. Coming into this film with well-rounded knowledge and experience, Jonah is excited and ready to make this film a reality and to watch the story come to life.

Meet the Producer

Michael Mahtesian - Michael has had a passion for film since he was in elementary school, where he made short action films with his friends and sister. Since coming to Ithaca College, Michael has worked on numerous sets including short films and music videos. Through these, he has gained experience in directing, screenwriting, and now producing! Michael can’t wait to start production on this film and is eager to see his and Jonah’s hard work come to fruition.
