Help Bonnie fight for her life!
Donation protected
I never in my life thought I would be doing one of these fundraisers. My sister, Bonnie Snyder, lives alone and runs her own 501C Pet Recovery business, "Bellabon's Pet Recovery". She may have saved a dog or other pet of yours, or someone you might know. Unfortunately, "cancer" happens, and it forcing her to fight for her life. So much has happened to her, but here is her long story "short" - Bonnie was diagnosed when the Covid pandemic started, a year ago in March 2020. She had a stage 3-4 massive tumor in her anal area, that immediately caused havoc on her body. She was treated quickly with chemotherapy and radiation in the most horrific way (pertaining to the rear end and vaginal areas of her body). It was very difficult for her but she battled the treatments never giving up. By August 2020, she had cancer in her right lung and was hospitalized to have a piece of her lung removed. Again, undergoing chemo and radiation and battling a rough recovery. Towards the end of the year, she was diagnosed in remission. That didn't last long - in March 2021, cancer was in her esophagus and pelvic area. Right away she began more chemo and radiation treatments, but it was cut short because she was feeling weak, dizzy, and had a hard time seeing. She was then diagnosed with a tumor that was in "2" lobes in her brain. In April she underwent brain surgery. Although she worked hard and well with recovering, (which was a very slow process), other things started going down hill fast. She had re-started her chemo and radiation treatments for the other areas of her body, but she was rushed to the hospital and remains there with COPD and a pulmonary embolism. Being on oxygen and blood thinners, she is now hemorrhaging. Bonnie has been told she has miraculously "beat the odds", sadly she knows, and we know, that may not be the case for long. Bonnie needs help with an overwhelming amount of medical costs. More importantly, if/when she makes it home she needs a downstairs bathroom. She lives in an old house with an upstairs bathroom, and she can't do the steps. We have a portable potty-chair downstairs for her and empty and clean it out often. A downstairs bathroom would tremendously benefit her and aid in her recovery with a feeling of dignity and privacy, which she currently doesn't have. Obviously, if she doesn't make it home, the monies you donate in her honor and care will be used for funeral expenses. Please find it in your heart to help Bonnie with the monetary burdens that are depressing her while she is fighting for her life. If she comes home, we would love to present her with a bathroom that would give her the dignity she craves. Any amount will be greatly appreciated and helpful. You can always reach out to me, Cindy Poust, with your questions and concerns, or to send a check directly to me. Also, please note - I may have gotten details or dates wrong, but this has been a very short - but long, hard journey for her and her caregivers. Thank you
