Help baby Bread Crumb get her heart surgery!
Hi friends! My sister Mallory and her husband Shawn recently adopted the cutest little puppy which our niece & nephew affectionately named Bread Crumb (BC for short). Bread Crumb is the spunkiest little pup and Mallory and Shawn already love her so much as the newest addition to their little family.
When they went for their first vet check they got some terrible news-baby Bread Crumb has a patent ductus arteriosus (PDA for short) which basically means she has a tiny hole in her tiny heart that can only be fixed with surgery. Without the surgery BC has at most a year to live, with the surgery she can live out a long & yappy life with her Mom, Dad, and brother Baymax (a 6 year old black lab).
As you can imagine, this is an unexpected expense for Mallory & Shawn and healthcare for pups doesn't work quite the same as healthcare for humans
