Help Ayna Ivanova Return Home for Mother's Funeral

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read this. My name is Ayna Ivanova,

my beloved mother Samsonova Evdokiia has unexpectedly passed away on the night of December 22, 2024.

I am now urgently seeking help to travel back home to Yakutsk, Sakha Republic, Russia, to be with my family and help arrange the funeral in this difficult time.

Due to unexpected nature of the tragedy and the Christmas holiday, the cost of travel is extremely high, and I find myself in an overwhelming financial situation.

Thankfully, by borrowing from close friends and using credit cards, I have been able to secure flights to make it to the funeral this week, but have a long road of paying these debts off ahead.

My expenses would be:

Flights (NYC → Istanbul → Moscow → Yakutsk and back): $5,000

Travel Fees : $500

Funeral Costs: $1000 (thankfully funeral costs are much cheaper in my republic than the United States)

Rent: $1800 - I currently pay $900 a month for a bedroom in Brooklyn. Because I will be unable to work most of January, this will help me cover two months of rent.

Food: $700 - I am estimating that I will be gone for around 3 weeks.
