Hi, my name is alesha. The reason for this go fund me page is to try and raise some money to help a family member. My dad.
At the age of 15 he was given a works experience job in a hair salon and from that day on never looked back.
He absolutely loved it and has worked endlessly to achieve his dream of owning his own salon.
On the way he found his partner in crime and life, my mum and both have work together in the salon making people look and feel fantastic day in, day out ever since.
Those who do know my dad know he's the energetic, hard working, funny hair dresser that no matter what life throws his way, is always there with my mum working, making everyone laugh and feel like one of the family.
Dad unfortunately on the 19th of December woke up to excruciating pain and was taken into hospital and was found to of had a brain hemorrhage.
Everything has been touch and go since and we've been out of our minds waiting daily for updates, unable to visit due to corona virus.
The salon sadly has had to stay closed since the 19th leaving mum worrying how they can continue to pay the bills without actually being able to open, and worrying about dad also.
The future right now is very uncertain and we're still waiting for daily updates as dad is still very poorly, but god bless him one of the first things he said when coming too was
"i may have to have a week or two off work until I feel a little bit better then I'll be back in"
Obviously not realising the severity of the situation.
The doctors have said dad will not be able to return to work for the foreseeable until fully recovered which could take months or longer.
I know myself my mum and dad would never ask for help but with no way of opening and bringing in any income, I thought I'd give this a go to try and help raise what ever possible to help them keep their business.
As a family there is only so much we ourselves can do to help, and so I'm hoping I can raise what ever possible to give them a little help and hope in their time of need and going into the new year until dad can return to work.
Mum and dad are the first people to help anyone in and need and I know they'll struggle without asking for help, so I'm asking for them.
Anything donated will help and I know they'll be forever grateful.
Thank you to anyone who donates or helps in any way.
Here's hoping dad will get better as soon as possible and be back home with us ASAP.
Thank you for anything given.
Love alesha.
