Happy 20th Anniversary, Angels!!!
Twenty years ago I put an idea into action, and Chemo Angels was born. A few years later, Senior Angels followed. They have been going strong ever since, thanks to our wonderful volunteers and our dedicated administrators.
We've deliberately designed Chemo Angels to be as cost-effective as possible. Our administrative costs are approximately $1000 a year, and since we do not charge a membership fee, a fundraiser is necessary every 5 years or so.
Our greatest expense by far are the informational brochures we send out to hospitals, oncologists, treatment centers and, of course, our volunteers, when requested. Our other expenses are few - our website and domain name costs, and the occasional special gifts sent to our lower income recipients.
Without you, Chemo Angels would not exist. Without your support, Chemo Angels can not continue. 2020 has definitely been a challenging year for all of us, and we understand that it may not be possible for everyone to give this year, but if you can donate, please do. It would be tragic if Chemo Angels became a victim of this pandemic. With your help, we can look forward to another 20 years.
