Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out because my cockatiel, Kiko, she may be suffering from 2 eggs stuck cause of egg binding.

She has always laid eggs without any problems before, (even tho we tried to prevent it) but this time I’m pretty sure she may have two eggs stuck inside. She is still passing droppings, but I don’t want to wait until her condition gets worse.

My mom took the photos, when I have the time I’ll provide better pics and angle.

I want to take her to an avian vet as soon as possible. The first consultation is expected to cost around €70–100, idk if there may be additional costs depending on what the vet finds. I’m pretty sure after she’ll need surgery? I never seen her bloated like that.

Unfortunately, the past few months have been financially difficult for me, and I’m currently in the middle of changing jobs, so finding the extra money right now is really hard. I feel guilty it’s unfortunate is happening now and I’m not in the best condition to help her.
