Give Lilly a Chance at a Healthy Life

Hello, my name is Savanna. I have been blessed with this beautiful baby girl named Lilly. She is a toy poodle around 6 weeks old. I have had her for two and a half weeks, and she was playing, running, and getting into shenanigans, just like puppies do.
Well, Sunday 11/27/2024, I woke up and was going to get her out of her room. She didn’t bark like usual from hearing me. When I opened the door, she was just laying there lifeless, wouldn’t move, couldn’t hold her head up or anything. I instantly panicked. I picked her up, and she just fell limp in my hands. My friend let me use her car to take her to the vet hospital in Nashville, TN. They turned me away because I couldn’t pay $1000 right then and there in case she was positive for parvovirus. I was devastated.
So, I work with this lady, and she has family that works at Cornerstone Vet in Dickson, TN (where I currently live). I took Lilly, and they suggested doing a parvo test. The results were negative. They decided to keep her for a few hours to do blood tests and give fluids. Her glucose was really low, so they suggested giving her some puppy formula, a little bit of Karo syrup, and unflavored Pedialyte. So, I did that all day Monday until it was time for bed.
I woke up this morning, and she was fine! Tail wagging, ready to eat, so I made her little breakfast, made sure she had a clean pad down, and went to work. I came and checked on her during lunch and gave her some Pedialyte, some formula, and soft puppy food with a drop of Karo syrup. When I got home this afternoon, she was not good. My heart immediately sunk again. She couldn’t move and started peeing and couldn’t even get up; she just laid there using the bathroom. I rushed her to Cornerstone, and I didn’t know what to say except help with tears running down my face. They took her, gave her fluids and some high-calorie nutritional supplement, and told me to bring her back in the morning.
Since being home as of now, she perked up a little and ate her whole little bowl of food, and she is now resting. I am giving her some nutritional paste every two hours until the morning. The reason I am making this GoFundMe page is because I am asking for help. I’m at a crossroads where I don’t know what to do other than ask for help. I don’t have what I need to get her the help she needs. So, it was suggested by the vet to get on here and try. So, I am asking you, if you find it in your heart to help Lilly to get her back to health, to be able to play and live a healthy, beautiful life surrounded by people that love and adore her!
I refuse to give up on her! She is so precious to me. So please, anything helps. Please share with whoever and wherever you can! I will do anything for this little baby; she deserves life, love, and happiness! Please keep us in your prayers. Thank you for reading. Have a blessed day.
