Give Frank Roquet a Chance at Independence

I have a good friend named Frank Roquet here in Nashville/West Meade. Frank worked with me for several years, but unfortunately, I cannot employ him anymore. Frank had an accident as a child and is totally deaf without assistance(he does has an implant for limited hearing) and a tad handicapped. He is on disability and gets less than $900 a month total. He's a hard worker, he is honest and caring but just not able to totally care for himself. He lived with our elder care friend, 97-year-old Betty Walker, for almost five years and he cooked, cleaned, kept the yard, planted flowers, etc., and cared for Betty till she died in September. Betty's family is selling her house in West Meade and Frank has nowhere to go, much less afford. He also worked for Mrs. Jack Massey for over 20 years in Belle Meade till she died. He comes from a long line of past proud employers.
Right now, Frank is living with me and Jody in a spare room. We are the only ones that will temporarily take him in. This GoFundMe is to assist Frank with extra funds for renting a cheap place to live.. He is only 57 years old and does not qualify for many senior housing places.
Jody and I are diligently trying to find him a place he can afford—it's a task that is close to impossible. We continue to search..it will happen!
Unfortunately, he cannot survive on $900 a month even with a few extra dollars from odd jobs. He has truck insurance, a phone and other small expenses.
As a service, it would be great if we could supplement his funds so he could have an acceptable place to live. Again, he is a great worker, but his skills are limited... yes, limited but needed by many folks. He weeds, cuts grass, hauls trash, cleans gutters, does small landscape jobs, plants flowers, digs holes for bushes and trees, prunes hedges, dog sits, etc. Yes.... he needs jobs. He has a truck we got for him a few years ago.
Frank is honest and trustworthy, as well as a new member of Belle Meade United Church, and has NO criminal record.
Let's help Frank get back on track and I promise you he will do better. We, as well as all of his friends, believe in him. Frank can take it from there by himself if we can help him get to that place in his life.
Thank you again,
