Help with Bowinkles AMPUTATION surgery.

Hi everyone, I am Rogine and this is Bowinkle. Bowinkle is a rescue boy and Ive had him since he was a young pup, adopted July of 2017. Hes going on 8 years old. Sadly, Bowinkle has a diseased mass on his left elbow thats too far into the bone to successfully remove. The issue has now spread into his left shoulder so vets have suggested amputation to remove the diseased limb on August 12th 2024. This was a very difficult decision to make but I am confident that he will have a longer and more comfortable life once he acclimates to being on 3 legs. The surgery itself is estimated at $1100 - $1300. Post surgery, I will be having the mass and lump biopsied which is $165 - $360. Bowinkle will need accommodations during his recovery such as a grass pad for the balcony to safely use the potty since we live on the third floor as well as a pet sitter on days I am unable to work from home @ $25 a day. I am actively saving money to cover the surgery and after care but fear I may come up a little short by the surgery date.

I want to be able to be with him as much as possible during his recovery so I can get straight to work on his physical therapy. Bowinkle loves to swim and jump and fetch and run and is just all around a silly, fun and kind fella but the mass is causing him too much pain for him to do activities for longer than a couple minutes. He has 3 fur brothers that look up to him and I know its going to be hard on all of us to see Bowinkle unable to be the playful pup we are used to for some time while he heals but once he has mastered being a tripod, I know he will be right back to his silly self. Im asking for whatever help anyone is able to give to afford Bowinkle the best possible options at fighting against this issue and stopping it before it gets worse.
