On the evening of July 5th, around 5 P.M., my 17-year-old brother was taken from us, shot multiple times and tragically pronounced dead at the scene.

Anthony had just graduated and was preparing to enlist in the military later on this year. He had taken the ASVAB more than once, determined to make something of himself. He only had his learner’s permit, and his future was just beginning to take shape. Anthony kept to himself, had a small circle of close friends, and was someone who carried quiet strength and potential.

I wish more than anything that his time with us wasn’t cut short. Our family is devastated, and we’re trying to give him the proper goodbye he deserves.
