Kenneth MacDonald, your friend, your brother, your 2 time Elks Lodge #1991 Past Exalted Ruler, and your caring gardener needs your help to fund his full-time care for late stage ALS.

A neuromuscular specialist was able to see him in the hospital in August and confirmed our unfortunate suspicions that Ken has a working diagnosis of late stage ALS. The next step is an appointment at UC Davis ALS Clinic to perform an EMG test to confirm the diagnosis.

At this point his only insurance Medicare is running out to pay for his full-care so we're paying out of pocket.

We did not plan for his rapid decline and of course not ALS so any funds really do help his comfort and care. 

Our families focus is on his comfort and spending time with him.
