FIDO FOREVER

As many of you may know, Greg recently had to say goodbye to his best friend, Fido. If you know Greg, chances are you knew Fido. Fido was Greg's best friend for the past 12 years, and we all know he would do anything for him. I was lucky enough to move next door to Greg and Fido almost five years ago, and my dog, Penny and Fido became best buds.

I won’t go into full detail out of respect for Greg’s privacy, but a few weeks ago, Greg was blindsided with the news that the vet had encountered a large mass on Fido's back, and an emergency removal was needed immediately. After the surgery, follow-ups and additional procedures were needed to save Fido's life. As you can imagine, this cost was not small, but Greg did what most of us would in that position and went forward with the procedures without hesitation.

Greg is the most solid person I have ever encountered in my life. He's the person who would drop everything he's doing to help someone out, and I know this because he's done it for me and just about everyone in our friend circle. Greg did not ask me to do this or ask for help of any kind, but I felt inclined to do something to help him out just as he would for any of us.

I won't disclose Greg’s total amount of Vet bills, but as a pet owner, when emergency life-saving surgeries are needed, we know that these do not even in the least bit come at an affordable cost.

I'm setting this goal far below the debt incurred, but I'm hoping this help will soften the blow of any financial stress this situation may have put on Greg.
