Hey guys, I’m Chelsea, I was recently diagnosed with Ductal Carcinoma in Situ (breast cancer).

I finally have a surgery date,

April 7,2026.

I’ll be having a double mastectomy with 3 of my lymph nodes removed on my right side.

This journey has been stressful and it’s not over yet. Though it’s been stressful, it has also helped me be a little more gentler with life, with my kids, my husband and just the whole world around me. I want to enjoy more of my life and what it has to offer. I want to watch my girls grow up, I want to be a grandma, I want to sit on the couch and watch movies with my husband and completely enjoy each other’s company for as long as we may have together. I just want my life back.

But as we all know, Cancer is EXPENSIVE.

With that being said I need help financially. I am humbly asking you to help me in any way you can with whatever you can. I will have surgery fees, copays and time off without pay because I do not have time off and I do not qualify for FMLA.

Having a double mastectomy means I will be out for 4 weeks to recover and try to regain my health and independence.
