Evie's Cancer Support Give Back

Donation protected
In 2015 our daughter Evie was diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

Evie battled her cancer for 2 and half years dealing with all the treatments, procedures, injections, hospital stays, isolation and the hair losses that came with it.

Evie was supported by a number of charities and support networks during her treatment. Now Evie is well into her remission she is continuing to want to give back to those charities.

Some of her past giving back activities include selling gold ribbons and wristbands for Childhood Cancer and Leukemia Group. Evie can never pass a Cancer Research shop without going in and often buying something. She is a keen 10 pin bowler and has bowled Strike Out Cancer tournament to support various cancer charities. Evie was also a Clic Sargent ambassador telling the story of her diagnosis and shopping in Morrisons and buying Clic Sargent charities pieces.

Evie now wants to give back some more and would like to raise money for, Little Princess Trust, Starlight Foundation, and the children's playroom at the Royal Marsden.

She has grown her hair so that she can donate it to Little Princess Trust so that she can be a part of the circle and someone going through the same treatment can gave a wig to help support them to help them with their hair losses.

Evie was lucky enough to be supported by Starlight Foundation and granted a magic wish to go to Lapland and meet Father Christmas. They also invited her to some fantastic events including a Christmas party at Downing Street, lunch at the a Rooftop Gardens in London, a helicopter ride and transport event at Popham Airfield. Clay pigeon shooting and other fantastic Summer picnic at Belmont Farm. Evie would love to raise enough money to send another child to Lapland to meet Father Christmas . We as a family have some amazing memories thanks to this wonderful charity.

Finally, Evie would love to raise some money to buy some new toys for the children's playroom at The Royal Marsden.

If you are able to give anything in order to give Evie the chance to give back to these charities as a small gesture of the support and memories we received during what was a dark and scary time, we would really appreciate it as would Evie.

Evie is booked in for 12th March with a specialist salon to have her hair cut for Little Princess.
