Hi everyone
My daughter evie-mae was born in september with a rare brain malformation which we disnt know about until evie was 8 weeks old after she had suffered a seizure at home.
Evie is a twin to her brother kai.
Evie has such a rare condition it affects around 1 in 1 million babies.
Myself and evies mother would like to start by thank everyone who has donated so far as we know we will have a long few months ahead of us and the generosity has been so overwhelming and thank you for helping us.
We are currently travelling between cork and Dublin 5+ times a week and will continue doing so for the next few months.
Evie suffered a stroke after her last procedure and has been linked with great ormond street from the beginning but with her condition being so rare and on going complications it might be the case we will be transferred to great ormond street.
Evie is such an amazing beautiful little girl with the heart of a lion who hasn't stopped proving everyone wrong so far and we as parents want to give her the best opportunity in life and the best possible care she can receive.
Evie has another procedure at the start of the new year and hopefully will continue to show that fight ❤️
thanks again to everyone who donated so far and helping us we appreciate it so much
Jonathan & caitriona
