It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news of the passing of our beloved Emilio Durango Garcia on May 1st, 2025. Emilio was just 16 years old—young, full of life, and loved by everyone who knew him.

Though he often tried to hide it, Emilio had one of the biggest hearts. He was always giving—whether it was rescuing animals, opening his home to friends in need, or offering a helping hand without hesitation. He lived with a quiet compassion that touched many lives.

Known affectionately as “Mills” or “Guero,” Emilio was headstrong, fearless, and determined to show the world just what he was capable of. He was a true thrill-seeker—funny, daring, and always up for an adventure because he was “one million percent savage!” Whether it was his love for fast cars, video games, his dog Chulo, Emilio brought energy and laughter everywhere he went.

He was deeply devoted to his mom, often stepping up to run errands with her or help out around the house. His presence, love, and support were a source of strength for his family.

This sudden and unimaginable loss has left our family heartbroken and unprepared for this financial burden. We are humbly asking for your support during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution—no matter the size—will help us honor Emilio’s memory and lay him to rest with the love and dignity he deserves.
