Donate to Michael Altman's Prosthetic Leg Fund

For those of you that don’t know me, my name is Michael Altman. Over the past five years I’ve had severe issues with diabetes and my feet. It started with a partial amputation in Jan 2021 with the first metatarsal taken. Then similar circumstances brought me to the hospital again to have my leg amputated in August 2024, however I had a recent heart attack I was unaware of so again they had to do a partial amputation on the second metatarsal and put off the whole leg amputation until my heart was stronger. Now a year later I was informed to go to the ER after an MRI showed septic arthritis, 3 separate locations of bone infection as well as an edema in my bone marrow. Today they removed my right leg just below the knee. With all the bills and necessities coming to my attention I am realizing that I need as much help as I can get. I started this go fund me in hopes to raise enough money to buy a prosthetic leg. I hate asking for help and would go without if I could, however this time I can’t.
