Hi everyone, Cobi here.

On Saturday the 15th of November 2025, I’ll be shaving my head to raise money for my friend Tiffany. Tiffany has been fighting breast cancer since over a year ago. Although she is through the worst of it, her healing and surgery journey is not over.

I’ve wanted to do this for a long time, for cancer, but I didn’t want the money to just disappear into a big organisation (although I acknowledge the importance of cancer research and supporting the organisations who help fund this). I wanted to see the impact of it on a real person’s life.

There wouldn’t be many people who haven’t had cancer touch their lives in one way or another, so I know this will resonate with many of you. Tiffany’s cancer journey started over a year ago. She’s already fought through the hardest parts, but her life has been significantly impacted, especially living in the United States, where her health insurance was cut midway through treatment last year. Most of us know how lucky we are to have great healthcare here in Australia. Tiffany didn’t have that, she continues to feel the financial impact, and her journey is still far from over.

This has been in the making for a while and I’ve gone back and forth, almost backing out a million times. A shaved head is short term discomfort but nothing compared to what people fighting cancer and fighting for their life have to go through, so it’s a small price to pay.
