As many of you know, Carrie has been battling cancer since October of 2023. Since this time, she has undergone 2 major surgeries resulting in the removal of her left lung, several ribs, and part of her diaphragm. She gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, sat through weeks and weeks of chemotherapy, and has received a handful of radiation sessions. Carrie has been hanging tough, but the last couple of years have been very rough physically, mentally, and emotionally.

In May, Carrie had scans done to check the effectiveness of the surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation on the known cancer and to see if any new cancer had developed.

This week, it was confirmed that the known cancer had been effectively removed by the most recent surgery and that the radiation had taken care of the cancer that surgery could not remove. We thank God that this cancer has been completely removed from her body!

Unfortunately, these scans also showed that new cancer has developed. Carrie’s team of doctors are meeting soon to come up with a new plan to attack this new cancer. Obviously, this is not the news we were hoping for. We continue to trust that God has a perfect plan for Carrie and that He is walking right alongside her.

We are starting this GoFundMe to help Carrie financially as she goes back into the trenches of fighting cancer. Donations to this GoFundMe are sent directly to Carrie to help pay her rent, utilities, and bills during this time while she is unable to work.
