Deandra's Mission Trip To Croatia

For the past 2 summers, I have had the opportunity to go on a mission trip across the world to Croatia with a club at my school called Project Life Club. This trip has completely changed my life, and I am so beyond excited that I have the opportunity to go for a third time. Each year, we go on this trip expecting to help the Roma/ Gypsy people, and in return our lives are completely transformed. Every year I come back home with a new appreciation of the life I have been given. This trip has taught me love, joy, appreciation, and utter happiness. The Roma people are second class citizens lacking structure (girls begin to have children at the age of 14 to receive money from the government), happiness, money, and they have virtually nothing. Our goal is to give these people a hope in their life, future, and to show them God's love. This year I will be attending the senior trip: a trip designed just for high school seniors. This will take place in Istria, Croatia where the amazing Croatian staff and interning college students will pour into us before we all head off to college. The second week of my trip will be back in the villages for my 3rd year in a row where I will be able to pour into the Roma children, teenagers, and adults as well as the high schoolers from my school whose trip will overlap mine. 

The $3000 needed for this trip covers everything I will need such as  airfare, ground transportation, lodging, food, etc. Your generous contributions will not only help me be able to return back to my happy place, but will also allow me to be able to help those less fortunate than us, and show them God's love.
