I BURIED MALCOLM DOCUMENTARY

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Never before told! Sheikh Muhammad Jaaber a forensic historian compiles and narrates a confrontational and compelling story of his father, the late Hajj Heshaam Jaaber, the man who made his way into history by performing the burial rites for the American Muslim martyr, Malcom X (El-Hajj Malik Shabazz), while risking his own life. That minute episode has forever linked Hajj Heshaam to Hajj Malik through time immemorial. This Documentary will follow Hajj Heshaam through some of the most exciting, challenging and life-threatening adventures in the evolution of Islam in America.

This history, although untold until now, will capture the life of the man who picked up the mantle of Hajj Malik Shabazz (Malcolm X) and marched forward, carrying out all that Hajj Malik Shabazz had hoped to accomplish in his own lifetime. It is through his continuous sacrifices that Muslims today can see and benefit from the fruits of Hajj Malik's labor. Hajj Heshaam Jaaber spent a lifetime upholding the true identity and legacy of Hajj Malik as a Sunni Muslim, refusing to allow anyone other than a Muslim to articulate and interpret his life. If not for Hajj Heshaam Jaaber, Malcom X would forever be obscured in the archives of history as a black nationalist, hate-monger and racist. Hajj Heshaam made it known that Malcolm (El-Hajj Malik Shabazz) had shedded those cloaks of un-Islamic bigotry when he whole-hearted denounced the former teachings of the Nation Of Islam (NOI) and embraced true orthodox Sunni Islam.

Hajj Heshaam served as the national Imam of the oldest indigenous Sunni Muslim organization in American, the Addenu Allahe Universal Arabic Association (AAUAA) chartered in 1936 by the late Professor Muhmmad Elzadeen, an indigenous born American who was educated in the Islamic sciences in Al-Azhar, Cairo Egypt. Beside his domestic work in Da’wah, Hajj Heshaam travelled to more than 20 Muslim countries as the cultural and religious press attaché for the Muslim World League and Islamic Press International. His undying legacy is reflected in the hundreds of Shahadas given by him, from the Zulus of South African to the streets in urban America. He established numerous institutions to continue his work, such as the Dawah College, the Jehadi Institute, (Morocco), the Bureau of Indigenous Muslim Affairs (BIMA) and Masjid Darul-Islam of Elizabeth, New Jersey.

The life and Legacy of Hajj Heshaam Jaaber is the missing History of early Islam in American. We, the Muslim community, are all indebted and in many cases recipients of his works and efforts to spread the message of Islam across America. We owe this untouched illustrious history to the upcoming generations of Muslim. For the first time, his story will be told by Muslims, those who knew him, walked with him and sacrificed alongside him. Hajj Heshaam Jaaber has left behind his progeny and a community of Muslims who continue to carry on his work.

In order to bring Hajj Heshaam Jaaber Legacy to film we need the support of the entire Muslim community. Please donate to this noble cause. Not only will you get the rewards for helping to educate the Muslims and non-Muslims alike but your contribution will also help set the record straight about the life of our falling martyr Malcolm X (El-Hajj Malik Shabazz) who has been mis-represented and mis-interpreted by people far removed from the true ideal of Islam.
