Dads funeral

There’s so much I can say about my father. Hard worker, charismatic, proud, etc.. he was a very well stand up man. Who did everything he could for his family from sun up to sun down. A man that lost his battle with cancer early Tuesday morning. Fortino Moreno was diagnosed with gastric cancer a little over 3 months ago. A very aggressive form of cancer that also led to many other issues that made it increasingly harder for my father to get better. Time went by way to fast as his health kept deteriorating. But he fought as much as he could and all along he had his family right alongside him the entire way. We fought hard in prayers and did everything humanly possibly. We are heartbroken for we had high faith that our father would overcome this. We understand that we had no control and at the end God showed mercy. As though we are hurt we also are beyond relieved knowing that he is in heaven where there is no more suffering. He accepted Jesus Christ as his only lord and savior for that we are very grateful. We thank God for allowing us to spend all the time we could alongside him that even though till the very end he had a high spirit making jokes and laughing with us. Fortino, you will forever be in our hearts as we forgive the past and thankful for the time we had with you. We will see you and join you soon in  heaven, I only hope that you will be waiting for us at the gate dad. We will miss you, we love you mi jefito.
