My name is Oscar, and I’ve recently completed my military service. I feel now is the time to pursue one of my long-held dreams: a backpacking/bikepacking journey. My plan is to do this before taking the next step in life, which will most likely be continuing my path within the armed forces.

That’s why I’ve now decided to embark on a journey from Sweden to Portugal.

I am also starting this fund for people to support me along the way with a daily beer for peddling. Each day I will post a video of the journey progressing and a clip showing the beer I reward myself as well as thanking/mentioning the person the beer is dedicated from!

This will also be my very first trip of such distance and challenges!

I want to create a journey based on a “checkpoint” system, where I have various destinations along the way that I plan to stop at. My goal isn’t just to reach a final destination, but to truly enjoy the journey itself.

I’ve decided to do this solo with the purpose of strengthening myself as an individual and proving that anyone with big enough dreams can do the same!
