Márta's fight
Donation protected
Friends. Family. And those of you who don't even know us.
Thank you for taking the time to read Márta's story. For realizing her fight and for doing whatever you can to help.
My name is Rob Ichelson and I'm
writing on behalf of our dear Nanny Márta Csuka. Márta has been part of our family for nearly 12 years - a consistent force in raising our two incredible kids - Rory and Max.

Truth is - if you have kids and live on the Upper West Side of Manhattan there is a pretty good chance you know Márta. She's everywhere. She's the ultimate care-giver. She lives to help others.
Now Márta needs a little help from us.
Márta is facing brain cancer.
Just like that. One day. A seizure. A hospital trip. An MRI.
Brain surgery.

Life changing news that for most people would be completely devastating. Not Márta. She is going to beat it. The grace, courage and bravery she has shown since this ordeal began is nothing short
of inspirational.
Márta has no family in New York. She came here on her own has built a life for herself thousands of miles from her home country in Hungary.
We are raising money for her so she has enough to get by during her treatment. It will be months before she can begin working again. Maybe longer.
For every dollar we raise on behalf of Márta, Michele and I will donate an additional portion to two cancer charities that mean a lot to us. The Pencer Brain Trust and the Larry Grossman Foundation for Kids. Both are charities named after great men who battled the same devastating disease.
One more thing.
Márta is a gifted opera singer. She has worked for years to hone her craft pursuing a dream to one day sing at the Metropolitan Opera. She will.

Please help. Let's all give back to a person who has spent her life giving to others.
Thank you.
Michele, Rob, Rory and Max.
