Ron and Katrina Kuivinen are the parents of three beautiful young children. Taden, their oldest, has always been a healthy little boy who enjoys school, building Legos, and just playing like most boys going into the third grade. This past summer, they found out that Taden has a rare disease--Cerebral Adrenoleukodystrophy (CALD)--this disease affects less than 1 in 18,000 people. It is a brain disorder that destroys myelin, the protective sheath that surrounds the brain's neuron. As family, friends, and anyone that has a heart for children, we want to support this precious boy and his family.
Taden has just started chemotherapy and will eventually have stem-cell treatment. The family is now staying at the Ronald McDonald House so he can be near Seattle Children's Hospital at all times, this will continue for four months. Please consider doing what you can to help by donating here to help with these huge expenses. We will start with a goal of raising $10,000. Let's show our support through prayer, friendship, and whatever we can bless them with financially. Thank you.
