Bruno's adoptive mom needs assistance

Bruno is a wonderful, sweet Doberman who was adopted from Doberman Rescue of Atlanta on November 4, 2023 by Beth Damon. Despite the fact that he had mobility issues, Beth adored him and welcomed him into her home with her gray pit bull named Taffy. It is so, so difficult to find anyone willing to adopt a dog with a medical issue and we really appreciated Beth's willingness to do so.

On April 21, 2024 Bruno became extremely sick - vomiting and bloody diarrhea so Beth rushed him to the ER vet in the middle of the night. They discovered that his stomach had flipped and he needed emergency surgery. Beth is over 70 and on a very limited income, but she could not just let Bruno go, she had to give him a chance. As of the day after surgery his vet bill is up to almost $8,000 which is an enormous strain on Beth's finances. She's had to max out 2 credit cards. I'm setting up this GoFundMe to help Beth with Bruno's astronomical vet bill.
