For The Love Of Jerry

This GoFundMe has been set up for my son Jerry. He was born with a disorder called Rubenstein-Taybi syndrome. It's a condition characterized by short stature, moderate to severe intellectual disability, and distinctive facial features and can include eye abnormalities, heart and kidney defects, dental problems, and obesity. I have spent many years advocating for Jerry to ensure that he has the best quality of life possible. Jerry is a friendly, loving, and very active young man who is well-known and loved by his family and community. I am reaching out to our friends, family, and community to help me continue to ensure that my son can live his best life. He needs a cognitive IQ test to be connected to supportive resources that will allow him to be able to continue to grow, learn, and increase his independence. This test is very expensive and is not covered by his insurance. The expectation is that I would have to pay over $ 3,000.00 out of pocket. Being on a fixed income and Jerry's full-time caregiver this feat is seemingly impossible. With your help, I will be able to ensure that my son will be able to be taken care of and get the support that he needs.
