Bixby's new phone

Bixby is a 6 year old rescue dog. Together with her Human and their rubber safety chicken, “Chicken Charlie”, they are on a mission to share the importance of pet adoption and supporting your local animal shelters.  These two give so much to so many across the country, and never ask for anything.  They are a truly amazing duo.

I've been following Bixby and her travels for years since they embarked.  When I visited them this last week in St. Augustine, FL... the road had gotten a little more challenging for them.  Their equipment is getting old and some of it is really acting up.

Bixby works hard to promote animal adoption, the supporters and businesses that host them, and engage with the wonderful online following that keeps them going.  That work is primarily done via a cell phone while on the road, not to mention navigation and such.  Their phone is toast.  Burnt, unbuttered toast.

I'm kicking this off to help get Bixby a Samsung Galaxy S7 Active  for Christmas, and have made the first $101 donation.  Every single penny donated goes to the rescue pup and her human toward this gift (minus the gofundme charges).  Bixby's human will get the phone and activate it in FL this week.

Helping to get a new phone ensures that they can continue to effectively promote the animal shelters they visit and their cause, keep us all up to date with their adorable pictures and posts, and will keep them safe out there on the highways and biways!
