Bean and her 12 puppies!!
Donation protected
Hiya,
I rescued Bean from my local train station on 10/10/24 around 11pm and waited 3 hours with 5 other people to ensure she was taken to a safe place.
After finding out her previous owner had abandoned her multiple times, I decided to rehome her from the dog wardens.
Upon Bean coming home on the 24/10/24 she looked much bigger than I remembered her. On the 28/10/24 I took her to the vets and I found out she was pregnant and was expecting multiple puppies imminently. I tried to temporarily rehome Bean in a Rescue/charity until after puppies had weaned off her but all the big organisations said they could not help due to the potential of Bean’s puppies being deemed XL bullies later down the line.
On 14/11/24 Bean gave birth to 13 puppies with sadly one passing away! I have now been looking after 13 dogs in my care with some support from friends and family. As a single person living on my own, the financial costs have been overwhelming. With the puppies growing up soon, I anticipate spending more as well.
Whilst Bean is a Mixed Bull Breed she has been deemed not XL type, the issue is we do not know the breed of the father, it will be hard to rehome them without a rough guide of DNA.
As I work full time, I have had to hire a puppy sitter to stay with Bean and puppies whilst I am in the office as pups need to be with Bean for 5 more weeks.
All donations will go towards:
- All Veterinary costs the pups and Bean (including vaccinations, microchipping and spaying)
- Puppy food and milk (lots of it!!)
- Puppy-sitter costs for safety for 5 weeks.
- DNA testing.
Any left over money will go towards Behavioural training and upkeep for Bean.
Thank you so much for your support.
