Bailey the sunflower Warrior
Hey there!
My name is Bailey, and I am a spunky twenty-year-old from Minnesota.
April of 2019 I became drastically ill,
struggling to get out of bed, much less
live my energetic, theatrical life. I started experiencing dizzy spells that rendered my senses useless, paralysis that left me unable to walk, and seizures that wipe
me out, and make me unable to drive, or even be alone for any period of time.
Slowly, some diagnosis started to
come in. My first was POTS, which is a
neurological condition that controls the automatic systems in the body. Than
other joined, such as MCAS, PNES, EDS, SIBO, FND, and still more that have yet
to be discovered. All of these new conditions piled on top of my previous Dyslexia,Dysgraphia, ADHD, PTSD, Anxiety and depression diagnosis has taken quite a tol on me and my family.
This is where YOU come in!
The medical bills for this body are insane, between the mobility aids, braces,
medications, clinic visits, and other
procedures, I figured it would be nice to
give the gift of some financial support to my parents, who entirely pay for my
treatment, as I cannot hold a steady job.
Some things your donation will go
towards: A portable Oxygen Condenser (cuz’ apparently breathing is important?), Medications and supplements, A
motorized attachment to my wheelchair. (So I don’t tire as easily, but still get to use my manual.) and a new backrest for my wheelchair.
Being able to get these little (and big)
things without breaking our necks, or the bank, will be such a blessing.
Thank you so much for considering
Donating, especially in this day and age when support is needed in so many
places, it means a lot that you believe in
the possibilities I have been given, and I
hope that the more time goes on, and the
stabler I get, the more I can pay it
forward.
Thank you again,
-Bailey
