Ayuda a Carlos Mejía Godoy a reconstruir después de incendio

Mi nombre es Frank Mejía y vivo en el sur de California. Soy sobrino del cantautor e ícono de la música folklórica Nicaragüense Carlos Mejía Godoy. A sus 81 años de edad, mi querido tío tiene ya 6 años de vivir en el exilio en Santa Rosa, California. Renta junto a su esposa Xóchitl un modesto apartamento el cual se incendió este pasado domingo 12 de enero. Mi tío es rico en todo lo que tiene que ver con la cultura Nicaragüense y lleva a su patria en su alma y corazón, pero no es rico financieramente y por eso he decidido hacer este pedido para poder ayudarle de alguna manera. Por favor, ayuden a mi tío ya que en el incendio perdió todas sus pertenencias y su casa. Gracias a Dios están bien físicamente, pero financieramente están muy mal. Les agradezco infinitamente cualquier ayuda que puedan aportar.

My name is Frank Mejia and I live in Southern California. I'm the nephew of the singer-songwriter and icon of Nicaraguan folk music, Carlos Mejía Godoy. At 81 years old, my beloved uncle has been living in exile in Santa Rosa, California, for the last 6 years. Along with his wife Xóchitl, they rent a modest apartment which burned to the ground this past Sunday, Jan. 12th. My uncle is rich in everything that has to do with Nicaraguan culture and carries his country in his heart and soul, but he's not financially rich and that's why I've decided to ask for help to help him out somehow. Please help my uncle as the fire took everything he owned and his home. Thank God they're both okay physically, but financially speaking, they're hurting really bad. I thank you infinitely for any help you could give.
