Atticus’ Medical Funds - Diagnosis and Treatment
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Liz and tonight I had to bring one of my cats, Atticus, to the emergency vet. He has been diagnosed with chronic anemia; a typical cats red blood cells are anywhere between upper 30-lower 40% of their blood volume, and Atticus’ was down to 12% today. He needs a blood transfusion as well as a full work-up to diagnose what is causing his anemia as his bone marrow isn’t regenerating red blood cells. The transfusion alone is over $2,000 and the diagnostic work-up can be anywhere from an additional $2,000-4,000+. I am fundraising to cover vet costs for Atticus to be able to get him properly diagnosed to find out what is causing his severe anemia and how to get him better. Atticus isn’t even 2 years old, and the thought of not only him living such a short amount of time but the thought of living without him is unbearable. Any donations are appreciated, no matter how small! Please keep my Atty boy in your thoughts
