Amy and Meg

Hi,

I am starting a fund to help support and allow Amy to take time off work to be with her mother, Meg. Amy is due with her second baby in November and needs to save her PTO for her maternity leave which has put her in such a dilemma as her mother is in a hospital in Florida, fighting for her life after a car accident, being struck by an uninsured drunk driver. The following message is from Amy:

“If you ever knew my mom, Miss Meg to most, then you know how sweet, welcoming and warm she was toward everyone she'd meet on the street. She was blind-sided by a drunk driver on Monday evening. She was life-flighted to Pensacola, FL and placed in an induced sedation with intubation and ventilation until yesterday. She remains unresponsive, intubated and ventilated since sedatives have been stopped. There has been several attempts to get some response from her to no avail.

Most know that my mom was always so giving. Now, my family is asking anyone to help give to her and her husband with his own severe health issues.

Anything at all is appreciated beyond words even if you can only offer thoughts and prayers. All I ask is that you please share this around. Thank you. I love you all.”
