Alice Adler Funeral cost

My mom, Alice Adler, passed away from a sudden heart attack over the weekend. She was only 51 years old. She had been struggling with heart disease for several years, however was not a candidate for a bypass that she desperately needed. She had to stop working this year full time because of her health. Unfortunately when she was unable to work full time she also lost all her benefits which included insurance for funeral expenses. Over the past few months she had seem to be stable with her health. So we did not expect for her to leave us so soon.  My brother and I did not want to ask for help with these expenses, but at this point have no other choice.
