Minnie Mouse is my 10 month old stray kitten. I found her abandoned outside as a baby and since then she’s been my little best friend full of sass, a playful, energetic, loving spirit. Minnie means the world to me, especially helping my mental health. She’s not just a pet, she’s my little baby and she brings me comfort and happiness.
Recently, Minnie became very sick. For the past week and ongoing, she’s been vomiting constantly, refusing food and water, and growing weaker by the day. She’s in pain and it’s heartbreaking to see her so unlike herself. Her tiny body just can’t handle this. The vet suspects something serious involving her liver, pancreas, and gallbladder due to abnormalities found in her bloodwork and ultrasound, but they haven’t been able to give a clear diagnosis yet. They urgently recommend hospitalization on IVs and medication due to dehydration from not drinking or eating all week. The SubQ fluids aren’t enough for her anymore. If she doesn’t get hospitalized soon, she’ll likely continue to get sicker and weaker, and we may be faced with the heartbreaking decision to let her go, which I’m trying so hard to prevent. The hospital is asking for an initial 3,000 dollar deposit just to admit her and begin IV fluids, medications, and monitoring. I’ve already used all the funds I had, and I have nothing left.
Every contribution will go directly to her care, and I’ll keep everyone updated on her progress. If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing Minnie’s story is a huge help and truly appreciated. Minnie is so precious to me, and I want to do everything possible to help her recover and get back to her playful, loving self.
