I am reaching out to ask for help on behalf of my uncle, Shahrokh “Sean” Rahimi, who is currently being held in ICE custody and facing deportation. On June 22nd, our lives were turned upside down when he was arrested right in front of his wife and young daughter. His little girl, had to watch her father taken away in handcuffs, and his wife is now left devastated, trying to hold their family together while living in constant fear of what comes next. He has been moved around detention facilities where the conditions are horrible and we have no real answers on what comes next.

Shahrokh has lived in the US for 20+ years and only has one minor speeding ticket. He is a devoted Christian, a loving husband, a dedicated father and uncle, a hard working man and an important part of our family. Attorney fees have racked up quickly and cases like this often range around 30k. We have already spent almost 20k but fees rack up almost weekly. This financial burden has become overwhelming for his wife, daughter and our family.

We are asking for your help during this incredibly difficult time. If you know my uncle, you know that he would give the last five dollars he has to someone in need. He cares for others and lives by his faith. He is the definition of a good man. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to keeping him home with our family where he belongs.
