Help the Carreon family recover from a housefire
Donation protected

Meet the Carreons
The Carreons are a family of 7, with two older children, 21 and 19, still at home, and three younger children just 6, 4 and 3 years old. If you know them already you’ll also know that they are some of the most charitable and big hearted people you’ll find.
Two weeks ago (Monday 5th October), the family lost everything they own in a house fire. What wasn’t destroyed by fire was destroyed by water. Theirs was a rental home, and through no fault of their own (as if that matters anyway) an outside gas connection somehow triggered a fire outbreak.
As the fire broke the three young children were playing on the trampoline with the garden hose, (it was a lovely warm 30.C day in Sydney) and they were forced to flee with the family wearing what minimal clothing they were in - which wasn’t much!
Chris and Sarah are now faced with the enormous and overwhelming task of replacing everything, and unfortunately, will not even be eligible for any insurance pay out to assist them with setting up an entire household all over again. From electrical appliances and white goods; beds, bedlinen, furniture and kitchen items; to clothing and personal items, the list is endless.
This year has undoubtedly been a very hard year for many, and for this family, it just got harder. If you’re in a position to, please consider digging into your pocket a little to help the Carreons, by making a donation through here.
Our goal at least, is to help Chris and Sarah replace their white goods and electrical items and hopefully, help them back into a home before Christmas. Anything beyond that as well would be a dream come true! And who couldn’t do with a dream come true?
